The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV) was established by the Act No. 37 of 1995 of Madhya Pradesh Government vide Gazette notification No. 537 dated 29 November 1995. MMYVV is a statutory university like any other statutory university in the country.
MMYVV is recognized by UGC under section 2 (F) and is member of AIU. MMYVV is the only university disseminating education in all forty aspects of Vedic Science and its technologies. MMYVV has also gained highest repute in introducing life oriented Consciousness based-value based system of education in main stream of Modern Science.
MMYVV is an affiliating University with jurisdiction spread over entire state of Madhya Pradesh.
